Woodworking
is designed to provide the student with basic information dealing with
the safe and proper use of tools and machines, designing a piece of
furniture, materials available for furniture construction, steps in
preparing to build a piece of furniture, fundamentals of furniture
construction and finishing techniques. Each student will be instructed
on the theory and practical application necessary in the construction
of a piece of furniture. Each student will be required to design and
build a piece of furniture of their choice. |
