Course Description: This course is designed to introduce the students to drafting fundamentals, methods and processes used by industry. Conventional drawings as well as computer aided drawings will be covered. Each student will learn to plan, problem solve, become orginized, interpret ideas of others and to express themselves in an understandable manner through the use of graphic communication. The first semester will be dedicated to manual drafting techniques while the second semester will be covering computer aided drafting techniques. This course is a pre-requiste for architectural drawing.
