This is a one year core class for tenth grade students.  Students will explore the basic principles of life.  Study will include ecology, cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, classification of organisms and behavioral mechanisms.  This course will meet the 12th grade Nebraska Science standards for  life science.  Current text used: Glencoe Biology, The Dynamics of Life 2000.
