Algebra I is a high school level course designed for students who have mastered basic mathematical concepts, as well as pre-algebra skills and understand that mathematics can be abstract.  This is a typical first year Algebra course that is available at Creek Valley High School in two sections.  Section one is offered to high school freshmen and is the option most college bound students enroll in.  Section two is offered to high school sophomores or other upper classmen who, for one reason or another, did not enroll in the freshman class or satisfactorily complete the class and want to get back on the college tract.  Both section one and two use the same curriculum and assess the same standards.
